JAY MIRACLE
Jay has over thirty-five years of extensive experience as a Filmmaker in both Film and Television.
While studying sculpture at UC Berkeley, Jay became involved in Bay Area feature production; which included Francis Ford Coppola ("Apocalypse Now"), George Lucas ("Star Wars" - Assistant Editor to George and Marcia Lucas), Milos Forman ("One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" - Assistant Editor to Milos Forman and Lynzee Klingman), and Erroll Morris ("The Gates of Heaven").
Jay worked over four years as a documentarian for Malcolm Forbes on several of his balloon trips – including Malcolm’s famous birthday party in Tangiers. During this time, Jay moved to Los Angeles, where he directed stage productions at Theater 40. This led to his work as a Director of commercials for Propaganda Films and Satellite Pictures (for Sundance Channel, etc.).
Jay has worked in virtually all capacities in both Production and Post Production. He has Directed, Produced, Edited, and/or Written for:
